HEAD OF INSURANCE
You should apply if:
5-10 years experience in the insurance industry, ideally with experience of shippers interest insurance or goods in transit insurance.
Financial acumen and experience in risk assessment and management.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
Attention to detail on pricing and performance.
Motivated to work in a startup environment and excited about the opportunity to automate goods-in-transit insurance.
You're excited to be hands on and build the groundwork for the future Insurance team
You're used to or happy to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Impeccable technical knowledge and the ability to communicate with non-experts in a simple and concise manner.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and values autonomy.
Exceptional follow-through and ‘can do’ attitude.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
What you’ll do:
Risk Management: Evaluating and assessing risks associated with Anansi’s insurance products and policies.
Underwriting Policy Development: Establishing and refining underwriting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
Manage pricing discussions (initial and mid-term adjustments) with enterprise clients.
Oversee claims at Anansi to ensure that the product is delivering the customer promise seamlessly and efficiently.
Profitability: Monitoring and improving the profitability of the product portfolio.
